Every year, people from all over visit our beautiful corporate headquarters to see one of the world's elite chocolatiers in action. You'll get to watch a short video about the history of DeBrand and then view our chocolate making kitchens where you'll see the artisan process involved in making our coveted chocolates. DeBrand Tours are a great way for people of all ages to add a little fun and "chocolate" to their day!

Who: People of all ages, from elementary school field trip students to "Red Hat Lady" groups, love these interactive Chocolate Tours. Bring your family, friends, church or corporate group for a fun day touring the DeBrand Headquarters & Kitchens.

What: Tours begin with a 15-minute video in the DeBrand Private Party Room. Groups are then led one at a time to begin the tour. You'll start with a DeBrand tour guide telling you all about the DeBrand website and Mail Order/Shipping Department, move on to tour the three DeBrand chocolate kitchens. Here you will learn about the various DeBrand chocolate collections and the delicate chocolate-making process, watching these artisan chocolates being hand-made and sampling some of the world's most exquisite chocolates. After ending the tour in our elegant chocolate shoppe you will have the opportunity to use your certificate(s) to purchase and take home some of the amazing treats available to you … or sit with your group and order delicious DeBrand desserts and drinks.

  • Depending on attendance levels, tours typically last 45 minutes.
  • Tours are handicapped accessible.
  • Tour cost is $5 per person. Attendees then receive a $5 off certificate good toward any purchase of $10 or more made that day in the shoppe.

When: DeBrand offers you 3 different tour options:

1.  Open Public Tours:
  • DeBrand Open Tours are available Tuesdays at 10:00 AM and Thursdays at 1:00 PM year round. Summer Open Tours start Memorial Day and end Labor Day, and are available Tuesdays at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, and Thursdays 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Tours are held at the DeBrand Corporate Headquarters and Shoppe with no reservation required.
  • Tours begin promptly on time, plan to arrive before the scheduled start time.
  • They are for individuals and small groups of less than 12.
  • No advanced reservation is required - just enter the shoppe and purchase your tour certificate at the counter.
  • Open Tours are subject to cancellation during holidays. Please call 260.969.8333 for more open tour information during any holiday season.

2.  Scheduled Private Tours:

  • These are available only for groups of 12 or more.
  • Private Tours must be scheduled ahead of time with our Public Relations Director. Email tours@debrand.com or call 800-482-4373.
  • Tours can be scheduled Monday through Sunday; however, it is suggested that you schedule your tour Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. in order to view an active chocolate-making process.

3.  Large Event, Convention & Corporate Tours:

  • These tours are scheduled for large groups and conventions visiting the Fort Wayne area and often cover the span of several days to accommodate such large groups.
  • These tours are also ideal for corporate groups looking for a unique activity for employee appreciation or for entertaining clients.
  • Group coordinators often choose to couple these tours with a scheduled Private Dessert and Chocolate Party.
